DNA Waterproofing isn’t just a name; it’s a reflection of who we are. “DNA” stands for Dan and Alex, the founders, and embodies our belief that quality waterproofing is “in our DNA.” We started DNA Waterproofing to address the growing demand for experienced waterproofing professionals in the Lower North Island. With strong ties to the region through friends and family, we knew this was the perfect place to build our company.
Our team is our greatest asset. We’re a crew of five, including Dan and Alex, dedicated to providing exceptional waterproofing and roofing services. We bring over a decade of hands-on experience to every project, ensuring expert craftsmanship and reliable solutions. We’re also committed to nurturing new talent, with two of our team members bringing fresh perspectives and a year of valuable experience to the table.

Outside of work, we’re passionate about our community and enjoy a good laugh. You’ll often find us watching sports, throwing darts, and catching up with friends and family over a barbecue and a beer. And, of course, we like to stay cool on hot days by taking a dip – so we can “get to know our enemy” (the water!).
